The UP Population Institute is raising money to continuously provide full scholarships for qualified graduate students , and a academic excellence award for the top academic performer per semester. The fund-raising activity commenced with the start of the Institute’s 50th anniversary celebrations in November 2014.
At present, UPPI has 26 students enrolled in its MA Demography and Master of Population Studies programs.

UPPI Director Dr. Maria Midea M. Kabamalan expresses her gratitude for the support the Institute is receiving on this undertaking, which will benefit students. “We thank those who donated to the Fund already and we will be continuing this initiative for some time and we hope other alumni, partners and friends will help as well”, she adds.
